For the Road2Spain program, we can offer you the option of accommodation with a Host Family, in a single room with breakfast. We believe that this is the best option for you, so that you are able to focus entirely on the TEFL course. In this way, you will also have a complete immersion into Spanish language and culture.
Our families are carefully selected with the following factors in mind:
The home is easy to get to from the school. Family homes are located at a maximum distance of 30 minutes walk or by public transport.
Pleasant, clean flats, with a well-equipped bedroom exclusively for you.
Host families who are interested in communicating with students and in having a good time during their stay.
Note: not all families are necessarily made up of a father, mother and children. By family we mean a variety of accommodation types which may be: a couple without children, or women who live alone or with children etc.
It is necessary for students from outside the European Union to apply for a Tourist Visa or a Student Visa.
TANDEM Madrid is an Instituto Cervantes accredited centre, and so, once you are enrolled on a Spanish course with us, we can provide you with a letter of authorisation needed to obtain the Student Visa, this will allow you to stay in Spain for 1 year.
This letter and other documents are sent via email and normal postage. If you would like them to get to you faster and more securely, you can use an express system which costs a further 60 €.
