A History of Musical Recording is an exhibition that shows the evolution of technology on music capture and reproduction, analyzing their cultural influence. Technological innovation that began with the autograph background and culminated with the MP3 player has in the creation, production and consumption of music.
This project is the merry encounter of music with technology in the mid-nineteenth century, the great technical advances in recording and playback music that have happened since then and how these have changed how we create, listen, feel and share music.
A story that tells us about human curiosity and his persistent search of how to capture the beautiful melodies of an art whose enjoyment was in ephemeral essence.
