My name is Mari Carmen.

I studied Modern Languages and Literature with English and Russian, and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I speak Spanish, English, and a little bit of Portuguese.

My passion for teaching began even before I graduated from college, when I started teaching English. Later, I lived several years in Ireland, where I started my career as a Spanish teacher. That experience allowed me to meet people from different cultures, something that has deeply enriched me personally and professionally.

For me, learning languages is a way to live other lives and even to build new identities. That is why I give special importance to communication in my classes, as I believe it is key to developing confidence and security when expressing oneself.

I define myself as a creative and curious person, always eager to learn and to transform the learning process into a dynamic and motivating experience. Definitely, what I enjoy most about my job is seeing how my students progress and feeling that I have contributed to their learning path.
