Corporate social responsibility

TANDEM International

At TANDEM Madrid we believe that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), in all its aspects, is a duty of companies that care about people and the world we live in.

Commitment to equality among people, economic justice, the environment, diversity and peace among all peoples has always been part of TANDEM Internacional‘s “DNA” and values. More than just preparing our students to learn a new language, we seek to inspire in our community the idea of a more just, prosperous and sustainable world.

This commitment to society is what drives all our actions. Our employees and suppliers are people who share our values and our way of seeing things. We care about family reconciliation, accessibility and equal employment opportunities.

We work with Triodos Bank, an independent European bank, a benchmark in ethical and sustainable banking. Triodos believes that banks are key social agents for transforming society, and therefore encourages money to be used to promote positive social change.

Fundación Vicente Ferrer

TANDEM Escuela Internacional Madrid collaborates with the NGO Vicente Ferrer Foundation. The school received the FECEI TOP Award for Corporate Social Responsibility 2019/2020 with its project “Volunteering in India, an inspiration for language schools developed at the Vicente Ferrer Foundation Professional Language School” in Anantapur, India.

Therefore, every time you choose TANDEM Madrid to take a language course, you will be doing your bit so that one day education, work, health and well-being in general will reach the entire planet, in a world where the borders between countries only exist to differentiate the cultures of each one, never to separate people.

Socially Responsible School of FEDELE

Escuela ELE

We are certified as a Socially Responsible ELE School by FEDELE. TANDEM is part of FEDELE, among other things, because they also believe in our values that aspire to a more just and humane society through sustainability.

This seal, far from being a permanent award, is a distinction for schools like ours that maintain a constant effort to collaborate with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, approved by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015.
