My Tandem’: Testimony of Susanne Funk.
Last year I asked at Tandem Berlin, a language school near my home, if it was possible to do a Tandem, a Spanish-German exchange, and I filled in the questionnaire. A few days later, in August, I met Chon and Juanjo, from Zaragoza, who were doing a German course for three weeks. From the very first moment we liked each other very much. As I was at home at the time, we met almost every day and had meals, went on excursions in different neighbourhoods, went to the cinema and cooked together. It was a fantastic and fun few days!
In September I went to Madrid to visit my friends, and logically I went to Zaragoza for a weekend. There I met Guille, Chon’s son, and Cristina, his mother, who cooks delicious Spanish dishes! I liked the city very much. There were many interesting exhibitions and a great neighbourhood full of tapas bars. Right now I am here again, happy and content to be able to meet these friends of mine.
