For the third consecutive year FEDELE participates with the collaboration of TANDEM MADRID among other schools in the Spanish Olympiads in Sweden. This competition, which started as a school competition at Borgarskola High School, has become an annual event for all secondary school students of Spanish in Sweden. More than 12,000 students from all over the country participated in the 2012 edition.
The popularity of the competition in Sweden has meant that, for the first time this year, the competition has been extended to Denmark with the aim, according to the promoters of the competition, Marcelo Cea and Fernando López Serrano, of becoming the Scandinavian Olympics in 2013.
Mariana Dima, executive secretary of FEDELE was in charge of handing out the diplomas to the winners in a party full of music and joy.
