Graduate in Hispanic Philology

Raquel Martínez was born in Madrid. She studied Hispanic Philology at the Universidad Complutense de Complutense University of Madrid.

After finishing university, she took a teacher training course in Ih Spanish teacher training course at Ih and discovered her vocation, teaching Spanish to foreigners. Subsequently, she completed a Master’s degree in teacher training in Spanish in teaching Spanish at the University of Alcalá de Henares and, more recently, she has taken the Master in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, more recently, she has completed a Master in Neuroeducation at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid.

From 2001 to 2006 she lived in Sweden, in Skövde. She was a reader at Högskolan i Skövde and collaborated the last year of her stay in Sweden with the University of Gothenburg. University of Gothenburg.

On her return to Spain, she has worked at the Complutense University of Madrid, in several American universities (UC, NYU, UCD, etc.). Currently, she has been working at Tandem Madrid since 2017 and collaborates with Universidad Carlos III de Madrid since 2013.
