Remedios Rodríguez Cruz

Hello, my name is Remedios Rodríguez Cruz. I studied Audiovisual Communication and a Master in Contemporary Culture: Spanish-American Literature, artistic institutions and cultural communication.
I lived in Rome, London and Buenos Aires, where I trained in different cultural and pedagogical fields. I worked teaching and coordinating socio-educational projects and, for ten years, I coordinated social projects in an NGO.
It was in this context that I started teaching Spanish classes to immigrants and organizing programs for their social integration through Spanish teaching. I discovered then my passion for teaching this language, which I never abandoned.
My teaching experience began in 2013 and in January 2022 I received a training course for ELE teachers at TANDEM. My experience at the school, as a student, was the prelude to what I later felt as a teacher: supported, in a familiar environment, where every detail matters, surrounded by colleagues who not only take care of the professional aspects, but also the human side.
Since June I have been fortunate to be part of the school’s staff, as a teacher and responsible for the cultural program. This is for me, more than a job, a vital experience that enriches me as a person and as a professional. For me, going to teach every day is like traveling. Every day, I “move” to a lot of countries, drink from other cultures, exchange experiences and have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.
