Mapa Ave Valencia

Spain now hurtles past France as Europe’s high-speed rail leader today as it opens a €6.6-billion line from Madrid to Valencia, banking on a boost to the economy.

Taking into account routes planned or under construction, Spain is in the second place globally with 5,525 km of high speed rail tracks, behind China – the world leader with 13,134 km – but ahead of pioneer Japan with 3,625 km.
From 3 hours and a half to around 90 minutes … half of the time will be needed to go from the centre of Valencia, to the centre of Madrid.
