From 7 to 28 March 2012 we were visited by a group of 26 students from the Istituto IPSSAR “F. P. Cascino” from Palermo (Italy), accompanied by their teachers Lillo Zagarrio and Antonino Parrinello They took part in a special Spanish course and internship in the hotel and catering industry within the programme LEONARDO DA VINCI of the European Union.
During their stay they carried out daily cultural activities, including excursions to Toledo and visits to museums, as well as internships in various restaurants and hotels in Madrid.
The development of the Spanish course and the internship has been a success for all parties, and some of the students will even return this summer after receiving job offers from some of the collaborating companies, whom we thank for their willingness to help and teach our Italian hospitality students.
