The week of 15 August 2016 we welcomed the first group of students from the United States and Canada who are coming to Spain to work as conversation assistants in bilingual schools in the Community of Madrid.
August is a month when you feel like being outdoors in the afternoon, with pleasant weather and the joy of summer. For this reason, we usually hold our language exchange meetings in the school’s courtyard, which is as beautiful as the rest of the building. We served some refreshments and snacks, in a perfect atmosphere to meet new people and learn languages, while having a good time.
At TANDEM we are delighted to welcome them and have them in our classes in the coming weeks and to celebrate yesterday we had our first international meeting of August in our courtyard. And these are some of the impressions left by our students:
