Summer Program

Overview

SUMMER PROGRAM – 4 weeks from May or June or July or August

This program is designed for university students who are:

Beginners, for students who wish to begin studying Spanish during their summer break.
Intermediate, Advanced and Heritage students who wish to increase their knowledge of Spain, improve and get ahead in their language skills during their summer break

Coursework

One month intensive Spanish Language classes with international students.

4 weeks of Intensive Spanish class at different levels
Cervantes Institute – AVE on-line course for 6 months after leaving

Students may come for 1,2, 3, 4 months

After an initial placement test, once entry level is determined, the student progresses to the highest level of his/her assimilation in the hours allotted during their stay Student may elect to include the Cervantes Institute Spanish DELE preparation at an extra cost.

Proven Spanish language progress
Small language classes with international students
All classes are taught in Spanish
Final grades have USA grade equivalents

Class Schedule

Language classes – From Monday to Friday – 9.30 – 13.00
Cultural Activities in afternoons or evenings or weekends

Family Homestay – Single room + half Board
DATES: May, June, July, August

MONTHLY FEES INCLUDE:

4 weeks of intensive language classes
Orientation – a practical orientation is carried out upon arrival the first afternoon
Individualized attention- on-site coordinator, housing coordinator and all teachers speak English
Cultural Activity program – 2 cultural activities per week (cultural walks, museums, etc.) 2 day- outings, cooking class, etc.

Monthly transport pass
Accommodation with a Spanish family (private room with breakfast, lunch and dinner)

SIELE is “The International Evaluation Service of the Spanish Language”, an online evaluation and certification service to test Spanish language ability. It is suitable for students and professionals alike, whose mother tongue is not Spanish and who need to demonstrate their linguistic ability to academic institutions, businesses and public administration.
