FEDELE, with the support of Turespaña, the Junta de Castilla y León and the Salamanca City Council, held the 5th Meeting of Spanish Language Teaching Centres (ECELE) in Salamanca.
The aim of this meeting was to showcase the academic offer of immersion courses in Spanish as a foreign language to teachers and heads of centres where Spanish is taught all over the world and
The event’s programme includes an additional range of academic, cultural and gastronomic activities which will contribute to offering a panoramic view of Spanish language teaching in Spain within the framework of the city of Salamanca.
FAM TRIP SPANISH TEACHERS, MADRID
After their participation in ECELE, the participants, Spanish teachers from different countries around the world and members of the Spanish OETS in the USA, Canada and India travelled to Madrid to get to know our wonderful city and its great cultural and leisure offer, as well as to visit the schools participating in the Fam Trip, among which they visited our school, TANDEM Madrid. A visit that made the whole TANDEM team very happy and we gave them the best of welcomes, showing them our facilities, talking to them about our Spanish teaching method, our programmes, etc.
The Madrid schools organised together with Turismo de Madrid, both visits to our schools and a variety of visits to cultural centres such as EL CÍRCULO DE BELLAS ARTES, where they enjoyed a cocktail in their wonderful restaurant.
They also enjoyed a private visit to the THYSSEN MUSEUM and a WALK THROUGH THE MADRID OF THE AUSTRIAS. As a final climax, a tasting of Madrid wines, in the Cava BAJA, organised by the Vinotium Group, followed by a virtual visit to its Museum of wine experiences.
