The truth is that when I started looking for ELE training courses I didn’t have much information. (To be honest, from NO information). It all started as an impulse, or rather a need to change, to broaden horizons and learn a profession that could be carried out anywhere in the world. As I said, I was starting absolutely from scratch and I didn’t have many tools to choose between one place or another… so what I did was to visit the different centres that I had seen on the internet and that seemed interesting. After several visits, I arrived at TANDEM, and when you enter TANDEM you notice from the very beginning the closeness of the people, I found it a very welcoming place and, above all, I saw the students relaxed. So I thought it was the right place. And I was not wrong. Desde el minuto uno te sientes integrado, todo el mundo te trata con cariño, no te sientes un número, no eres un estudiante más. It is an ideal learning environment. And I think it has a lot to do with his teaching philosophy. I was surprised by how dynamic the classes are and how they try to make sure that the student never gets frustrated with what he doesn’t know, that he notices how he is taking steps forward and that everything he learns in each class, regardless of his level, will help him to integrate, to feel more and more comfortable speaking Spanish.

For me, TANDEM has been a before and after. Now I am more eager than ever to keep learning, to keep growing as a Spanish teacher and, above all the tools I have acquired, the most important thing is that I have learned the kind of teacher I would like to be.
